Ram Charan Teja is getting engaged to Upasana Kamineni

Ram Charan Tejawas waiting for this day! Chiranjeevi’s son, Ram Charan Teja, who has earned a standing with his films like Magadheera and Orange, is getting engaged to his girlfriend Upasana Kamineni in a splendid engagement ceremony to be held in Hyderabad today.

The venue of Ram Charan Teja's Engagement is the sprawling farm house Temple Tress of the Kamineni family near Himayath Sagar, Hyderabad. As per reports, the setting is elegant and spectacular but the highlight of the engagement ceremony is going to be the floral decoration. Insiders reveal that a huge consignment of exotic flowers has been brought by air from Thailand.

To maintain the grandiose setting of the Ram Charan Teja's engagement venue, special theme lights have been arranged to illuminate the location. But despite the elaborate arrangements, only a very limited number of guests, relatives from both the families and friends are invited.

Both the families also performed a special pooja on Wednesday morning (30th Nov, 2011) to mark the auspicious occasion at the temple in the premises of the Jubilee Hills Apollo Hospitals, as it is the tradition of the Kamineni family.

Though there were rumours of Ram Charan Teja and Upasana Kamineni being already engaged, the formal ritual of engagement is only happening now.

Upasana Kamineni is the eldest daughter of prominent industrialists Anil and Shobana Kamineni and the granddaughter of Dr Prathap C Reddy, founder chairman of Apollo chain of hospitals. It’s said that Ram Charan Teja and Upasana are together since last two years.

The Ram Charan Teja's marriage is planned for early next year.
